Primetime Network Rules
Welcome to Primetime Network.
Our rules are designed to keep the server fair, competitive, and enjoyable for everyone. By connecting to Primetime Network, you agree to follow the rules listed below.
Not every possible situation can be written into a rule. Staff may use reasonable judgment when dealing with behavior that negatively affects the server, its players, or its economy.
Punishments may vary depending on the severity of the situation, previous offenses, intent, and any damage caused.
1. Player Conduct
Treat other players with a reasonable level of respect.
Competition, arguments, and friendly trash talk are allowed, but there is a point where it becomes harassment.
You may not:
- Repeatedly target or harass another player
- Use racial, homophobic, discriminatory, or hateful slurs
- Make serious real-life threats
- Encourage another person to harm themselves
- Share private or personal information about another player
- Continuously provoke someone after being asked to stop
- Organize harassment against another player
Disagreements are fine. Turning them into personal attacks is not.
2. Cheating and Unfair Advantages
Anything that gives you an unfair gameplay advantage over normal players is prohibited.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- KillAura
- Reach modifications
- Fly hacks
- Speed hacks
- X-Ray
- Freecam used to locate hidden areas or resources
- Auto-clickers
- Combat macros
- Automated inventory macros
- Packet manipulation
- Movement exploits
- Automated mining or farming tools
- Baritone when used to automate gameplay
- Modified clients designed for cheating
Using a feature because "the client allows it" does not automatically make it allowed.
If you are unsure whether a mod is permitted, ask staff before using it.
3. Allowed Client Modifications
Mods that improve performance, visuals, or accessibility without providing an unfair advantage are generally allowed.
Examples include:
- Sodium
- OptiFine

- Cosmetic modifications
- Resource packs
- HUD modifications
- Basic minimaps
- Minimaps or similar tools may not reveal:
- Hidden players

Staff may require you to stop using a modification if it is found to provide an unintended advantage.

- Transfer exploited items to another account
- Use alternate accounts to hide exploited items
Items, money, Gems, or other benefits obtained through an exploit may be removed.

This includes:
- In-game currency
- Gems
- Items

- Money on another server
Official Primetime Network purchases are the only exception.
7. Scamming and Player Trading
Intentionally deceiving another player during an agreed trade is prohibited.
Examples include:
- Taking payment and refusing to provide the agreed item
- Switching an item at the last second
- Creating intentionally misleading shop listings
- Pretending to represent Primetime staff
- Faking payment
- Using edited screenshots as fake proof
- Misrepresenting an item during a trade
- Players should still verify trades before accepting them.

You may not intentionally bypass another player's protection.
This includes:

- Entering protected areas through bugs
- Accessing protected containers through glitches

Griefing rules depend on whether an area is protected.
You may not:
- Bypass claims to destroy a build
- Intentionally destroy protected property
- Use exploits to damage another player's base
- Surround claims with intentionally disruptive builds
- Create lava walls, water walls, or similar structures solely to interfere with another player

Normal gameplay involving unclaimed land may be handled differently depending on the situation.
10. Earth Gameplay
Primetime Earth is built around:
- Cities
- Nations
- Territory
- Trading
- Alliances

Roleplay, rivalries, alliances, and political-style gameplay inside the server are allowed as long as all other rules are followed.

- Excessively use capital letters
- Spam commands that create public messages
- Send malicious links
- Constantly beg for ranks, Gems, items, money, or staff
- Impersonate another player
- Impersonate staff

Advertising competing Minecraft servers is prohibited.
This includes:
- Posting another server's IP
- Posting another server's Discord
- Posting advertisements through private messages
- Recruiting Primetime players to another Minecraft server

Do not intentionally create anything designed to damage server performance.
This includes:

- Excessive boats
- Intentionally overloaded chunks

- Repeatedly loading unnecessary chunks for the purpose of creating lag
- Large farms are allowed within reason.
If a farm or machine causes noticeable performance problems, staff may ask you to reduce its size or remove it.
16. Staff Impersonation
Do not pretend to be a Primetime Network staff member.
This includes:
- Fake staff messages
- Fake punishment messages
- Claiming you can ban or mute players
- Pretending to represent server management
- Creating misleading staff-like usernames
- Using fake staff roles

Official staff members can be identified through their server rank.

Do not attempt to bypass a punishment.

- Joining on another Minecraft account after being banned
- Using another person's account
- Using a VPN specifically to bypass restrictions
- Rejoining Discord on another account after being banned
- Having another player communicate for you to bypass a mute
- Using alternate accounts to continue prohibited behavior
Accounts involved in punishment evasion may also be punished.
18. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for activity performed on your account.
Statements such as:
- "My brother did it."
- "My friend was on my account."
- "Someone else logged in."
- "I let someone borrow my account."
- do not automatically remove responsibility.
- Keep your account secure.
Do not share your Microsoft account password or login information with anyone.
19. Ranks, Gems, and Store Purchases
Purchasing something from Primetime Network does not give a player immunity from server rules.
This includes:
- Paid ranks
- Gems
- Crate keys
- Bundles
- Cosmetics
- Temporary perks
- Permanent perks
Players who have purchased items can still receive normal punishments.
Depending on the situation, this may include:

- Do not intentionally interfere
- Do not spam staff asking for updates
- Do not threaten staff
- Do not harass staff over a punishment
- Do not encourage other players to attack staff
- Do not destroy or hide evidence

When reporting another player, provide evidence whenever possible.
Useful evidence may include:
- Screenshots
- Video recordings
- Chat logs
- Transaction records
- Server logs
- Player usernames
- Dates and approximate times

False reports made to intentionally punish another player may result in punishment.
22. Punishments
Staff may issue different punishments depending on the situation.
Possible actions include:
- Verbal warnings
- Official warnings
- Kicks
- Temporary mutes
- Permanent mutes
- Temporary bans
- Permanent bans
- Item removal
- Currency removal
- Gem removal
- Claim removal

Not every offense requires a warning first.
Severe cheating, exploitation, threats, doxxing, punishment evasion, or attempts to damage the server may result in an immediate ban.
23. Appeals
Players may appeal eligible punishments through the official Primetime Network appeal system.
When submitting an appeal:
- Be honest
- Explain what happened
- Do not spam multiple appeals
- Do not harass staff for a response
- Do not submit fake evidence
- Do not have friends spam staff on your behalf
Submitting an appeal does not guarantee that a punishment will be removed.
24. Loopholes
Attempting to find a technical loophole in the wording of these rules does not make harmful behavior acceptable.
Examples include:
- "The rules never specifically said I couldn't do this."
- Using a slightly different exploit than one listed
- Using another account to perform something you cannot do
- Having another player perform an exploit for you
- Intentionally avoiding the exact wording of a rule while still violating its purpose
- Use common sense.
If something clearly gives you an unfair advantage or damages the server, do not do it.
25. Rule Updates
Primetime Network may update these rules as the server develops.
Rules may change to account for:
- New features
- New exploits
- New plugins
- Economy changes
- Gameplay changes
- Community issues
Players are responsible for following the most recent version of the rules.
Major changes may be announced through official Primetime Network channels.
Final Reminder
Primetime Network is supposed to be competitive, social, and fun.
You do not have to agree with every other player.
You do not have to be friends with everyone.
You do need to play fairly and respect the systems that keep the server running.
If you discover a bug, report it.
If another player breaks the rules, report them.
If you receive a punishment you believe is incorrect, appeal it.
Don't cheat.
Don't exploit.
Don't intentionally ruin the experience for everyone else.
Play fair. Build something great. Enjoy Primetime Network.
